The University of Wisconsin is currently working on a searchable database to help locate all kinds of cooperatives nationwide. This will be based on the 2009 study “Research on the Economic Impact of Cooperatives” (Deller, Hoyt, Hueth and Sundaram-Stukel). Because this will be the most comprehensive list created since the rise of the Internet, this database will provide an unprecedented level of public access to cooperative information in this country.
We will link to that co-op finder as soon as it is available. Meanwhile, many of the organizations linked to elsewhere in this site have their own lists of members, which can help find specific types of cooperatives.
