NCBA's Bailey to Discuss Co-ops on Oregon Public Television

On Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, NCBA's Chief Policy Officer Liz Bailey joins Ashland Food Co-op on the Southern Oregon Public Television show Immense Possibilities to discuss cooperative enterprises and regional networks of cooperatives.

The program airs 8:30 pm, Pacific. Those outside the SOPT viewing area may stream the program from the Immense Possibilities website, where it will be archived for later viewing.

Ashland Food Co-op, an NCBA member, is part of the Rogue Co-ops, a network of cooperatives in Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley. Comprised of Rogue Federal Credit Union, Grange Co-op, Medford Food Co-op and Ashland Food Co-op, Rogue Co-ops offers Southern Oregon and Northern California residents everything from high-quality groceries and garden supplies, to farm and pet supplies, home, auto and business loans, and more. The group collectively employs approximately 600 people and provides products and services to a combined 90,000 members, in addition to thousands more non-members.

In 2012, Rogue Co-ops was honored for its teamwork and dedication to the community with the annual Collaboration Award presented by Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development Inc. (SOREDI).
