After attending the International Summit in Quebec in early October of 2012, Amy Coughenour, NCBA’s Chief Operations Officer for CLUSA International was asked to share her experience on the first edition of the International Summit of Cooperatives and to explain how the cooperative movement and the NCBA can play a significant role in the United-States' future.
Hosted by the Desjardins Group, along with its co-hosts the International Cooperative Alliance and Saint Mary's University, more than two thousand cooperative business leaders from more than 90 countries attended this successful first-ever event, which has sparked interest in holding a second Summit in 2014.
