FTF is a valuable resource for NCBA members and offers many opportunities for participants including:
- Opportunity for NCBA members to gain firsthand experience in select African emerging markets. NCBA members are expected to return to their home cooperatives with the kind of in depth, qualitative understanding of conditions in emerging markets that is impossible to achieve through desk-based research.
- FTF offers a great way to form partnerships with sister cooperatives fighting poverty overseas. After an assignment, you’ll be able to get your partnership with your sister cooperative started on the right foot. Our program staff will help you document your work overseas so that you can share it with the members of your cooperative at home.
