January/February — The sub-prime market and its effect on cooperatives?
As most Americans are aware, the sub-prime mortgage fiasco has devastated financial markets. This issue peers into the cooperative housing sector to show what cooperatives are doing to combat this problem. [This issue will also include information for the May National Cooperative Business Association Board elections.]

March/April — Cooperative...food?
One of the biggest sectors in the cooperative movement is that involving agriculture. From the organic movement to cooperative farming, CBJ looks at the cooperative influence in the agricutlure of America. [This issue includes NCBA's Annual Report and Board of Directors nominees]

May/June — Cooperative Education Around the Globe
Various educational institutions, from pre-schools to graduate programs are cooperatively structured or have a cooperative program. This issue focuses on what these programs are, where they're located, and how they're impacting the education of cooperative leaders now and in the future.

July/August — Strictly Business - Purchasing Cooperatives
One of the largest and most business-minded cooperatives are in the purchasing sector. Many of these cooperatives are multi-billion dollar businesses who depend on the cooperative structure for their advancement. CBJ analyzes this sector to publicize what they are doing to generate such revenues. Consider it Business 101. [This issue will preview Co-op Month]

September/October — The Global Cooperative Movement
Many Americans would be shocked to know that cooperatives have just as strong, if not moreso of an influence internationally than they do in the U.S. This issue will highlight what the U.S. Government is doing to facilitate global cooperatives as well as various U.S. cooperatives who have a strong international influence.

November/December — Becoming Healthier Through Cooperatives
As Health care is one of the biggest issues in America today, CBJ will spotlight the various cooperatives across the country that have a health focus, from home care assistance and global health care firms, and will explore cooperative health outlook is for 2009 and beyond. [This issue will include an election re-cap and its impact on cooperatives]
